Sluseholmen South

Town houses by the canal in the new urban district of Copenhagen

Sluseholmen South is located in a new, peri-urban residential area in Copenhagen and comprises two asymmetrical blocks. 237 apartments are distributed between the two blocks and range from smaller studio apartments to luxurious penthouses.

The development’s facades are divided vertically in a row of ‘town houses’. Each has its own expression, with great variation in the types of windows and facade details, helping to differentiate between the different town houses.

The east side of the two blocks comprises four-storey canal houses, all of which have their own entrance. Along Sluseholmen, there are shops and businesses at street level, with underground parking, bicycle parking and storage rooms, etc., below them.

The two courtyard areas are designed with communal recreation and activity in mind, and are divided into private zones and more public zones, intended for play, social interaction and physical activities.
